Hand-built doesn’t mean imprecise. RedLine runs a ShopSabre ShopMaster Pro 12 — an industrial CNC plasma table with a full 6′ × 12′ bed and AC servo drives — so when a job calls for clean, identical parts, we cut them to exact tolerances and repeat them perfectly, every time.

That big bed means we cut full sheets in one shot — gussets, brackets, base plates, panels and bracketry — straight from your CAD file, DXF, or a dimensioned sketch. Need it welded into an assembly afterward? Our welding shop picks up right where the cutting leaves off.

How a cutting job works

1. Send the file or the sketch. A DXF or DWG is fastest. A PDF drawing or a dimensioned sketch works too, and so does a sample part you want copied — we’ll measure it and draw it up.

2. Tell us the basics. Material (steel, stainless or aluminum), thickness, quantity, and whether you need the parts bent or welded afterward. That’s what we need to quote it.

3. We nest and cut. Parts get laid out on the sheet to use the material well and cut on the ShopSabre. Because the bed takes a full 6′ × 12′ sheet, long parts and big runs don’t have to be split up.

4. Form, weld, done. If the part needs a bend, it goes to our 145-ton, 8-ft press brake; if it’s part of an assembly, it goes straight to the welders. One shop, no hand-offs.

Is plasma right for your part?

CNC plasma is the workhorse for plate: brackets, gussets, base plates, flanges, panels and trailer components, cut fast and identical every time. For most fabrication work it’s the right tool. It isn’t a laser or a machine shop, though, and we’ll say so: small holes in thick plate and parts that need a machined edge are better drilled or finished after cutting. If your part needs that, we’ll plan for it up front.
