How a repair works here
Call first. Ring (352) 620-4963 with the make, the length and what’s going on — lights out, a bearing that’s getting hot, a cracked crossmember, a floor that flexes. A photo of anything structural helps us tell you up front whether it’s a quick fix or a drop-off. We’re open Mon–Fri 6a–3p · Sat by appt.
Honest assessment. Once the trailer is in, we look at the whole thing, not just the part you called about, and tell you straight what needs fixing now and what can wait. Sometimes that means telling you a rusted steel trailer isn’t worth another round of patches.
Fixed in-house. Because we build trailers from scratch, we don’t sub anything out. Replacement parts get cut on our CNC plasma table, formed on the 145-ton press brake and welded by the same crew that builds our aluminum trailers. That’s why structural repairs other shops won’t touch are routine here.
The jobs we see most
In Florida the list is predictable. Bearings fail from being dunked hot at the ramp, so repacks, new seals and hubs top the list. Surge brakes and calipers seize on trailers that sit. Lights and wiring corrode, and a full re-wire with sealed, heat-shrink connections and LED lights usually beats chasing one bad ground at a time. Wood bunks rot and bunk carpet wears through. On steel trailers, crossmembers and frame rails rust from the inside out. We fix every one of those, on any make, whether it’s a boat trailer, a horse trailer or a utility, dump, gooseneck, car-hauler, equipment or enclosed trailer.

We fix the trailer. Someone else does the tires.
Axles, bearings, brakes, wiring, suspension, frame — that’s us. Tires aren’t: we’re a fabrication shop, not a tire shop. When your trailer needs rubber we point people to trailer tires in Ocala at Tire Express, who stock proper ST-rated tires and will read your DOT date codes for free. Worth doing: trailer tires age out long before they wear out, so a set with beautiful tread can still be five years past its date — and a blowout at 65 with a boat behind you is the one repair nobody can undo.
