Horse trailers fail in different places than boat trailers. Urine and manure are hard on floors: wood boards rot from underneath, and aluminum floors corrode where moisture sits under mats that never get pulled. So on every horse trailer that comes in, the mats come up and the floor and the frame under it get looked at first. After that we go through the dividers and their pins and latches, the ramp or rear doors and their springs and hinges, escape and side doors, the hitch or gooseneck coupler, safety chains and breakaway switch, the axles, bearings and brakes, and every light. You get a straight list: what has to be fixed before the next haul, and what can wait.

Bumper-pull, gooseneck, steel or aluminum

We work on two-horse bumper-pulls, big goosenecks and stock-combo trailers, in steel or aluminum. Aluminum has to be welded differently than steel, and our welders build aluminum trailers every day, so cracked aluminum frames, floor supports and divider mounts are familiar work. Tack-room storage, saddle racks and bridle hooks can be built to fit your gear through our custom welding shop.
